Pig on the Pond
Waterfront Park, Lake Minneola, Clermont
The annual Pig on the Pond event enables more than 20 local non-profit organizations to conduct fundraising efforts at the Waterfront Park. Attendance averages 27,000 people and the event has raised $700,000 since 2003 for scholarships and education for the South Lake community.
Taste of Mount Dora and Casino Night

The Taste of Mount Dora presents a spectacular evening of culinary delights prepared by Mount Dora’s finest restaurants. Come dressed in country western attire, and be a ‘High Roller’ with Blackjack, Texas Holdem’, Roulette, Craps and poker tables.
Leesburg Fine Art Festival

An event going more than 40 years, this fine art and craft show organized by Leesburg Center For the Arts features exhibitors, food vendors, live music, a car show, kids area and student art exhibit.
Tavares Spring Thunder Regatta

The past will come alive as vintage and classic race boats of bygone eras return to Lake Dora in Tavares, now a major stop on the CRA Florida Vintage Race Boat Circuit. In addition to seeing and hearing these beautiful vintage boats run, spectators can also view them close-up in the pit area.
Great Clermont Triathlon Festival
Clermont Waterfront Park, Clermont
The annual Great Clermont Triathlon Festival features a 1.5K-swim, 40K-bike and 10K-run and the international Aqua Bike has a 1.5K-swim and 40K-bike. After racking your bike make sure to head down the finish chute to start celebrating.
