Born and raised in Eustis, Anne graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in education. She then taught students with disabilities at Tavares Elementary for 10 years. She left teaching to have her two sons, and returned to the same school that she loved 6 years later. This time, instead of going into the classroom, she became the school’s ESE (Exceptional Student Education) School Specialist. Her main priority was to be the lead advocate for students with disabilities and for their families. She served the people of that community for 8 more years by providing guidance using her extensive knowledge and the most current information. She assessed student’s needs and worked passionately with families and school staff to provide the best education and school experience possible for all children. When her sons were no longer at the elementary school with her, Anne decided to pursue another of her passions, Real Estate.
Having lived in the Eustis/Mount Dora area her entire life, she has witnessed the change and tremendous growth that has occurred in central Florida.
As a Realtor at Catherine Hanson Real Estate, Anne now utilizes many of the same skills with buyers and sellers she developed while a school specialist. She is patient, detail oriented, proactive and a strong advocate for those she serves.
