Mount Plymouth

Welcome home to this tucked-away community offering a bit of a rural feel, conveniently located between the charming village of Mt. Dora (also known as Festival City) & the bustling, thriving social centers of Lake Mary and Sanford. Only minutes from the 429/453 extensions, Mount Plymouth’s slogan is that it is “30 minutes from 30 towns,” yet this quiet hamlet has a personality all of its own.

Living here, you can experience the “real” Florida, enjoying the many conservation lands such as Seminole State Forest, and hiking or biking on the Wekiva Trail. Or cool off swimming or kayaking in the pristine waters of Rock Springs Run and Wekiva Springs.

For the sports-minded, there is the nearby Red Tail Golf Club and a lot of youth sports at East Lake County Community Park. Oak Haven Farms and Winery offers the opportunity to pick strawberries, sample wines, zip line, or enjoy a picnic. You can even visit the four historic homes built in the 1920s by legendary architect Sam Stoltz, an attraction that brings hundreds of day-trippers to Mount Plymouth for a tour.

Speaking of attractions, Mount Plymouth is just over an hour from the beaches and the parks at Disney and Universal. It’s also one of the rare communities with a Golf Cart Community designation, so you can drive your golf cart to visit friends, go to dinner, and take part in the annual Christmas Lights Parade.

You’ll find every type of property here, from single-family homes, townhouses and apartments, vacant land, and luxury properties. Enjoy the feeling of country living, but the convenience of easy access to grocery stores, dining, airports, and hospitals. It is the best of both worlds!
