Meet George Kittleson GRI, MRP Broker Associate. George has been with Catherine Hanson Real Estate, Inc. since 1996.
He was born and raised on a farm in Sardinia, a small town in Western New York, 40 miles South of Buffalo, NY. He graduated from high school in Arcade, NY and graduated from Alfred AG-Tech with an associates degree in Rural Engineering after which he married his high school sweetheart. Shortly thereafter, George was drafted in the Army where he served 2 years between Kentucky and Germany as a tank mechanic.
After he was discharged from the Army he worked as a welder and fabricated farm machinery for 5 years and then worked for Fisher Price Toy Company as a welder and assembly line mechanic for 4 years.
George also served as a town tax appraiser; a town councilman and later as town supervisor for a total of 10 years.
He and his wife then bought a gasoline service station and later bought a petroleum distributor and spent a total of 18 years expanding the business until selling out in 1980. A year later he went to work for that company as a sales rep calling on service stations throughout Central and Western New York and Pennsylvania and went with another petroleum distributor near Niagra Falls for a few years before relocating to Sorrento in 1990.
He obtained his Real Estate License in 1991 and later his Broker’s license. He has been listing and selling homes, ranches, acreage and some commercial properties in Lake, Orange and Seminole Counties for the last 24 years of which 18 have been with Catherine Hanson Real Estate, Inc.
