Real Estate Sales Associate
Monica Toledo was born and raised in Mount Dora, FL and currently calls Umatilla her hometown with her husband Otilio, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a leopard gecko. Monica and her husband are expecting their first child later this year, and they couldn’t be more excited to raise their daughter in the wonderful area they both have called home for their entire lives.
After graduating from Mount Dora High School and working locally for many years, Monica obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2020. She worked at a local facility for some time before embarking on her journey into real estate. Monica is a fierce mental health advocate and is currently pursuing ways to establish relationships with local facilities to provide support and improve awareness. Monica’s goal is to bridge her passion for mental health awareness and career in real estate so that they work together for the community.
Monica obtained her real estate license in October of 2021, and while she is a newer agent, she utilizes the strengths gained through years of working with the public to meet the needs of her customers. Active listening, empathy, critical thinking, and passion for helping others are just some of the skills she applies, both professionally and in daily life. Monica prides her business being built on open communication, genuine love of the community, and sincere care for each and every one of her customers.
When she is not delving into real estate, Monica likes to spend her time going on outdoor adventures with her husband, enjoying all the beautiful hidden gems that this amazing area of Florida has to offer.
